 A04 -Examine the partnerships between different organisations involved in sport development using examples from two different sports within the local area.


Name: Daniel Hine
Organisation name and description of their aims: Daniel Hine represents SFC Bath. The aims for the company are to;Build the self-confidence of the players and Help them achieve a high level of skill.
Working within these points, the company, and Dan Hine will help players develop in sport and achieve their full potential.
Job title: Daniel is a self employed sports coach.
Main roles / responsibilities of job: For his job, Dan Hine needs to be able to handle any age group and produce a coaching opportunity for football.Responsibilities for him are to make sure the people he is coaching is in a safe environment with no hazards (May have to fill out risk assessment).
Impact / outcomes on youth involved in sport in the area: The impact that has sports is in increases the level of participation within football in Bath.


Name: Lisa wood
Organisation name and description of their aims: Lisa Wood works for Wesport. Wesport have to main aims; 'Empowering Organisations' and 'Inspiring People'. increasing promoting and support a celebrate lifelong participation in sport and physical activity, realising potential for all.

Job title: youth sport manager
Main roles / responsibilities of job: On of her roles is to be experienced in Development and then possess the ability to cope with assignments and events to a high standard with significant budget resources. She has to be able to have the capability of scheduling and organising your own complex and challenging workload within deadlines.
Impact / outcomes on youth involved in sport in the area: People involved in this will be inspired to play more sport and join in with more activities. It will teach social skills, like communication, and will help confidence rise when playing sport.

Name: David Burston

Organisation name and description of their aims: Partnership Development Manager of the BANES School Sport Partnership. The school partnership is designed to help young people to become leaders and to volunteer in the community. They have one main aim, "Increasing the number of young people, aged 5-19, who spend up to 5 hours each week high quality PE and School Sport within and beyond the curriculum".
Job title: partnership development manager
Main roles / responsibilities of job: The Partnership Development Manager (PDM) manages the partnership and has developed strategic links with the LEA, Sport and Active Lifestyles, County Sports Partnership (WESPORT) and other local partners.
Impact / outcomes on youth involved in sport in the area: The impact David Burston has is to increase participation in schemes run by the partnership.

Name: Chris Pile
Organisation name and description of their aims:  The main part of our work is with children and we specialize in offering competitive and non-competitive gymnastics training Baskerville’s is the place where children aged 4-months to 16-years develop their coordination, balance, listening and social skills whilst also having lots of fun. Our age-specific, non-competitive curriculum is delivered in weekly lesson plans to ensure your child builds their skills progressively and with increasing confidence, alongside our drop-in Softplay sessions.
Job title: gymnastics coach
Main roles / responsibilities of job: Training of the junior assistants and demonstrators by running course, on the spot Training and appraisals. Make sure the entire gymnast have sufficient and current BAGA insurance! This is must have by British gymnastic without they shouldn't be doing gymnastic.
Impact / outcomes on youth involved in sport in the area: the outcome of having top quality facilities in the bath area creates healthier community also young children they will have a opportunity to  try professional gymnastics.
Fitness benefits within youth:  benefits of being fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are good to be aware of at a young age. Being fit will create you to enjoy life more, you will have less pressure on body image, you will be healthier and bee less prone to illness.
International gymnastics status – creating gymnasts that can compete at international competition make the gymnast club have a positive image, being able to have coach’s that can coach at this standard are an asset to the gym  make not only the gym look good but the city of bath.
Physical benefits - having trained from 4 months to 16 years, it will offer benefits of being able to be flexible, stronger and more co-ordinated.

Name: Mr Gunning
Organisation name and description of their aims: SSCO

  School sport co-ordinator

Main roles / responsibilities of job: A School Sport Co-ordonator (SSCO) plays a leading role in the delivery of the Partnership Development Plan for the feeder primary schools in their Cluster. They support colleagues in the delivery of high quality PE and school sport and have a remit to increase sporting opportunities for pupils during out of school hours. They are responsible for the co-ordination and development of after school activities and local community.Impact / outcomes on youth involved in sport in the area: Mr Gunning work with local primary school in order to encourage young children to get involved in sport, working with so many schools creates a greater community spirit. Showing parents that sports secondary schools have taken an interest in younger pupils.
Another outcome for having a SSCO would be that because of the interest in younger children, they might be encouraged to go to that particular school, creating larger intake of year7 pupils in that school.
Name: Simon Scarborough Culverhay School is an 11 to 19 specialist Maths and Computing School for boys, located on the south side of Bath. We can be characterised as ‘A small school with big ambitions’, both for the students who attend the school now, and for the future.

Impact/outcome on youth involved in my area:  enriching diverse PE opportunity’s for students. Encourages students to partake in different sports and try new ones.
